Auks Farm - A Boutique Farmstay

A fabulous find at Soreng, District Darjeeling. About 9 kms after the Left Turn at Teesta Bazar is where Auks Farm is located.

The hosts, Kalyan Kumar and Sushmita Subba are very welcoming and make sure you are looked after. Clean rooms and bathrooms, home cooked meals and an awesome view awaits you here.

Breathtaking beauty and warm family welcome. The stay at Auks Farm was an out of this world experience given its unique location with the stunning view of the mountain range through an early morning mist, the greenery around and waking up to the sound of soothing chants from the nearby monastery. The family who run the property are some of the warmest people I have met, they catered to all my needs including special request to host a BBQ on a chilly December night. I also walked up to the nearby monastery, stopping for some delicious homemade momos along the way. I cannot wait to visit again and enjoy the soul refreshing serenity of Auks Farm again.

Just spent a magical 3 days at this home stay with some of my friends from college. The host was very nice, they prepared many of the local delicacies. There are many places within a 1 to 2 hour drive that we can visit, like tea gardens, monasteries, forests, rivers, etc

It's about 3 hours from the Bagdogra airport along a nice, scenic route

If you are looking for a cozy, clean and comfortable stay in the lap of mother nature, look no further. Hosted by team of warm kind and super-efficient hosts, surrounded by beautiful hills clad in tall vegetation; woke up every morning to the beautiful sunrise view and natural sweet bird chatter. A ~15 min short drive to all Teesta, Teesta bazaar, a beautiful place, that I would certainly revisit. Not to forget, the tastefully designed and decorated cottages!
Not to forget......Great food cooked to taste to cover local and global cuisine!

Away from the hustle of popular tourist destinations, this farmstay is located approx 42 kms away from Darjeeling.
With breathtaking views of Kanchenzonga and the beautiful forests around, this is truely a peaceful abode where you can spend the whole day following slow-paced life of the locals and witnessing the several colors of nature.

I stayed at Sushmita's home with my husband and family. We brought in the New Year in the mountains. Sushmita and her entire family were very warm, made yummy home cooked meals and went out of their way to make our holiday memorable. They helped book a cab to the market and return as well. The beds were very comfortable and warm. We enjoyed our stay and wish them all the best.

A nature lover and bird watchers Paradise. All the food are sourced locally and the cuisine is delicious. Surprisingly also provides wifi. Far from the usual touristy places.

We (me and my husband) stayed at Auks Farm for 2 days in this December. We came to know about this lovely place in Soreng while searching for off beat places near Darjeeling. After seeing the photos of the property we immediately decided to stay their. Called the owner Sushmita and booked it for our christmas holiday. We have hired a bike from Darjeeling to reach Soreng. One can easily go there by car also. Private or shared car facility can be arranged from the farm. After reaching there the calmness of the place took my heart. It's a lovely place right in the nature's lap. One can spend day after day by overlooking the breathtaking valley. The rooms, toilets are very clean and you will get all the modern amenities in the rooms. There are four rooms. One four occupancy and others are 2 occupancy. The food is home cooked and awesome. All the vegetables are produced in their own farm. The owners are very warm and friendly. Their hospitality is wonderful. The evening bonfire, chit-chats, moonlit night, never-ending beauty of the nature was mesmerising. We wanted to stay their forever.
