Junior Kuppanna

We went here with my family on the way to velankanni. We felt the food could have been far better. It costed us 2200 for six people. However the food was not as expected. Mutton omelette and Kola urunda is a must try.

Horrible experience, went after a tiring trip from Velankani. We wanted to eat meals and had a long journey ahead to Bangalore. Ordered non veg meals which doesn’t have any non veg other than a cm long piece of fish. Mutton curry which had a piece normally we throw away. (Pic attached). Waiter kept asking for side dish around 6 times as if you don’t take you are not worth enough to eat there. Had a horrible experience and wouldn’t recommend anyone looking to eat with dignity. I normally don’t fuss around food but this I had to report.

Over pricey.. poor taste. Not at all worth for the money. Not recommended.

Food is very tasty . Especially the biriyani and the chicken 65...portion size is little less than you expect for the price...lots of options are there. The place get very rush so there's a delay in the services. Interior is neat and clean and the ambience is good. Over all a good experience

Guys please don’t spoil the Brand name, The worst in Taste and consistency of Biriyani and Naatukozhi fry, Worst Junior Kuppanna Branch , Please don’t choose this place when u are in Tanjore bypass better prefer some other place .. 1000rupees lost for a poor taste of biriyani which is not even worth for a road side 20 rs kushka

My favourite here is pallipalayam chicken and mutton dosa. I have been here quite a few times. Briyani not that great. Services can be improved

Food taste is good.
But service was very poor. During meals time, the rice and vegetables asked for second time were brought purposely late to make customers to get away.
Very poor service by the staffs.
If the condition persists, all branches will go in to loss and the hotel business of kupanna can be closed permanently by 2023

It's the best you can have. As a North Indian, my review for this South Indian restaurant, is delicious in one word!. You can really enjoy, chicken, mutton biriyani with various gravy and dry fry options. In mutton you can also have the leg bones (Nali mutton gravy). You can definitely try your appetite to satisfy your drought full feeling of eating non-veg. Fish also available here. If you are having a expandable nonveg option, apparently you can satisfy your stomach and enjoy your lunch or dinner. The hotness of the spices is tolerable or you can customize according to your taste. Better go with medium hotness ( wrt chilli). I recommend you can surely try, and hope you enjoy the food.
