Gangtok Junction

Don't waste your money as well as time. There are some reason to avoid this restaurant. Since we are going to have healthy food to keep us healthy but they are preparing food with the help of 2nd class or 3rd class maida mixed paneer . their steel thali was not cleaned when they served us the food in steel thali because we had ordered veg and non veg thali for 5 people. And the worst thing is we caught the 2 long hairs in rice and daal respectively.
Even after that we paid the full amount . Disgusting Disgraceful.
Now I am asking to you..should we go there !!! Ofcourse Not.
Its my suggestion that don't go there and don't spoil your time along with the money. There are a great restaurant name of RASOI , YOU may go there to have delicious food. We went there the same day after having a bad experience at Gangtok Junction . I am uploading the pic also..u can see that the restaurant is completely vacant . not a single family are there ... Not a single group are there ..infact not a single couple are there. 3rd class service provided by Gangtok Junction .

The food is delicious, cost effective and ambiance is calm. The owner of the restaurant is very friendly. It's very impressive how each staff did behave. It's a huge plus from my side.

Never go to this restaurant your entire day can be ruined.
They are extremely unhygienic the chicken was not properly cleaned I found a bunch of chicken hair on the chicken skin the chicken skin was not pulled out in butter chicken.
Instead of asking sorry they were willing to charge us for the butter chicken.
The staff is extremely unhygienic.
The food quantity is too low and pretty expensive depending upon the quantity of the food.
THEY JUST CARE ABOUT THE MONEY NOT THE SERVICE PROVIDED TO THE GUESTS!
KINDLY NEVER GO TO THIS RESTAURANT DON'T EVEN KNOW IF THE 5 STAR REVIEWS IN THE GOOGLE IS TRUE BECAUSE IT'S A PATHETIC RESTAURANT.

I couldn't found best thing about this restaurant. We went there with family . We ordered our desired food.
My mother my wife and my 2 kids are there along with me. Just after 5 min of placing the order we had a scene at the floor of restaurant infront of us. It was a fighting with owner and co owner. They both are from different gender . One was male and another was female. Male person was abusing roughly to the female person. He used all kind of slang language for her. She replied him nicely with a couple of solid slap . But in that environment we didn't felt safe because all of the staffs were watching both of them and one of the service girl told us that ye sab yaha en dono ka roz ka hai..ye sab yaha chalta rehta hai. After that I just canceled the order immediately and left the restaurant too. I do not want to be the part of this restaurant anymore .

The worst restaurant of Gangtok. There is a police Chowki near this restaurant. You may ask to the police about the reputation of this restaurant and reputation of the owner. They will tell u honestly . There are lots of taxi standing there infront of Gangtok junction restaurant. U may ask to the taxi driver also. They will give u real feedback about this restaurant and owner. I got all of the feedback from taxi driver. Once I went there but the restaurant was vacant ... The owner was walking around m g marg and convincing the tourist to visit their restaurant. .in the same way we visited the gangtok junction. After that they took only 5 -7 min to take the order.. But they spend around one and half hour to deliver the food our table. Chicken and fish was not eatable . aisa lag raha tha chicken and fish fresh nahi tha.. Basi bhi hota to chalta but basi se bhi jyada basi tha...pata nahi kitne dino ka tha..their stock was not proper...we ordered gulab jamun and ice cream and both of the item was not available. Such a worst experience there. Dont want to go there again.

The food that we have experienced was excellent better try atleast ones

It's quite a decent restaurant with very minimal staffs but the service is fast though there wasn't much guest during the time we visit to dine.
The staffs were good because i and my sister were chatting about dirt in the mat and the lady serving the food came quickly and clean the mat though it would have been more professional if they would have changed the mat but its okay.
*the ambience is pleasent doesn't have that wow factor
*Now coming to the food we ordered
1.chilli chicken boneless: It was amazing,the taste was delicious and served hot .
2.garlic butter rice: I have never tried this so I opt for this and I think made a perfect choice to choose this because it was so perfect for my hungry appetite,the rice was well coated with butter and garlic and was loaded with chicken pieces.
3.chicken handi:The taste was good and the quantity was also decent.
4.masala cold drinks :okayish
5.redbull
We thought of ordering brownie for our sweet tooth but at that very moment they didn't had that so we didn't order anything for dessert because they didn't had a lot of varieties for your sweet tooth.
*So in brief it is a good decent pocket friendly restaurant with varities of food near mg marg,gangtok.
Ps:if you are a tourist then this place will give you good amount of food in budget.

Don't go there. . they are just trying to cheat us. Go and check their kitchen . check the boiled eggs. Chicken and mutton and fish in their fridge . they served us in a thali and the thali was cleaned properly . we just left the food and paid full amount to the drinker owner. He was having the drink rapidly inside the restaurant. 3rd class cheap narrow minded owner .
