Heart and soul of dussehra festival lies in this ground. Dusaha mela is celebrated in this area. Rest of the year it encompasses wood workshops where carpentry work, house construction related wooden logs supply work is carried out. currently this place has become very congested. In rush hour, commuting across this area is very hectic and troublesome, As private bus stand is also located in proximity.

Mela maidan.... A crowded place but displaying every type of people on the road going happily. There's a great problem of parking. People often park thier bikes on the roads which most of the times hampers the movement of big vehicles specially of cars and SUVs. During dushhehra it becomes a colourful place with a huge mela spread on the grounds. Many performances of qawwali and dances are done there and a lot of eateries are opened for the people and many shops too for buying stuffs.

There is no parking place usually used for bus stand but in season of Dusshera is used for mela(fair) and ravana's dehan place and the whole mela{fair} takes place in its ground with lot of shops , food courts , daily need products and swigs ....
