The school, now closed, stands as a Heritage building in the local vicinity. This was founded in year 1865 during the British Rule in India and was named after village Naithana. This was amongst the only 3 schools back then, established in Entire Pauri Gahwal. The other 2 were located in Gulabrai and Pokhra.
