Customers should be very careful while buying new products at this store.
I specifically told the owner of the showroom, Mr Singhal that he MUST ensure that my new LG Fridge is not opened at his godown .
I further reminded him in writing on the whats app that the Fridge Must not be opened in the go down and Mr Singhal assured me that they do not follow this practise of opening a sealed packed unit in the godown to check for damages. Instead they open the sealed packed unit infront of the customer.
Despite getting such assurance from the owner himself I was sent an opened fridge.
When I called back Mr Singhal was suddenly not available on the same number and I was made to talk to his manager Rahul who first deliberately misidentified himself as Mr Singhal
This man had the temerity to tell me that this fridge was opened on my instructions infront of me. I had to make him talk to Ramesh the delivery man to prove him wrong on speaker phone . I was shocked to see that rather than admit to his mistake he was ready to blame the customer.
Naturally I returned the fridge and was now told by Rahul that he will get a new unopened fridge delivered in an hour as he has another 3 units available .
After wasting the whole Sunday waiting for the packed sealed unit promised to me twice, I had to follow up and another man again delibetately misidentifying himself as Rahul insisted they will send the new unopened unit once they receive the returned unit. When I insisted to speak to Rahul he again changed the story to inform me that he has no new pieces but only used ones .
This seems to be their standard operating procedure and they are liars and can't be trusted.
So the conclusion is that every customer should be very careful ordering a product at this store as they may be reselling open demo or used appliances as NEW .
If this dealer insists that he must open and check for damages before sending the appliance from his godown then customers should insist of a video recording of the new appliance being opened or they should make a live video call and show the customer while opening any new appliance to check for damages.
Please be very careful buying here as most customers are not so particular and may be getting open pieces as new.
