I needed p-channel MOSFET for my project and elsewhere in the market, shops remember only the IC number they keep and don't know anything else about them and neither they indulge the customer to at least tell them about what they keep so a person can do a quick google search to check compatibility. Unlike other places, here the shopkeeper knows what they are selling. They quickly helped me with the similar component a had in inventory which turned out to be compatible and hence saved my day.
