Al-Barkaat Educational Society, dedicated to the memory of renowned Persian-Hindi Sufi poet Syed Shah Barkatullah of Marehra, district Etah, came into being in 1995. The Society was registered under the Societies Registration Act.
Introducing pre-school method approaches, Al-Barkaat Play & Learn Centre is the first institution of its kind in Aligarh. This centre runs classes from Play Group to Preparatory level. At present more than 200 children are admitted to this centre.
The school aims at imparting modern Scientific Education along with the teaching of Islamic values to children.
Qadiria Girls Section as well as separate hostels for girls and boys with the total strength of 450 from far off places in India.
The School provides ample facilities of Game and Sports with well trained coaches for students.

Al-Barkaat is the most excellent school and institute in Aligarh, Uttar Pradesh. It gives a feeling that you are being a school student actually studying in a university but not in a school. Highly luxurious buildings and furniture. Excellent staff, hygiene, and cleanliness. The overall campus is amazing. Separate school buildings and hostels for boys and girls make it much better as many parents don't want their children to study in a co-ed atmosphere. Islamic learning and practices are very often that keep the students attached to their religion and faith. This place is so secure. But sometimes we felt that we're in the jail, from where we can't cross the line. There're so restrictions for us but we enjoying alot like that we are living in our home. Sometimes I get bored and become angry on staff's
