Hindon Airport Civil Terminal

COVID NORMS ARE BEEN FOLLOWING,Its pretty clean and calm environment..Star air people are very good at hosting and hospitality was awesome

It's a small but well maintained Airport. Parking is available and it's free. Canteen also available for commuters.

Very very poorly managed airport. Not sure on what basis permissions was given by Airport authority. They don't allow entry in main gate before 10:15am and customer should stand in hot sun and carry luggage. No water facility. No hospitality. Literally felt shame after visiting this Airport. They are just downgrading name of our sweet country.

Atleast for its very convenient one.
Only issue I generally face here when returning back : There is no taxi available and when booked from uber or ola , its refused by most of the time. If there could be a transport service which can connect to major points in city would be good.

Hindon Airport is a civil enclave in Ghaziabad, Uttar Pradesh, operated by the Airports Authority of India at Hindan Air Force Station of the Indian Air Force. It is the second commercial airport in the Delhi NCR after Indira Gandhi International Airport The airport was primarily built to handle flights operating under the Government's regional connectivity scheme. As of 2019, there are two airlines operating regional flights from the airport.

The enclave has been built on 22050 sqm land area near Sikandarpur village in Sahibabad, adjacent to the airbase. The terminal building is a pre-engineered, air-conditioned structure with eight check-in counters. The terminal building has a capacity of serving 300 passengers an hour. The Car park can accommodate 90 cars. Air traffic control is bieng provided by the Indian Air Force. The C.E terminal has been developed by AAI .

It's a small airport or part of airforce runway used for civilian use , these flights comes under central government Udan schemes which connects smaller cities of India. While these airports not usually rushed & only single flight takes at a time so there is no delay in flight (for both Arrival & Departure).
Not costly tickets not even too cheap.

Nearest metro is mohan nagar . Great place to look around.It is neatly maintained and offers various services like medical, csd, and playgrounds.

a good place to walk in the morning . till now you cannot called it "Airport" . but as we are local residents we need it too much to improve your standard. overall a good step by government.
