○Dr. Venugopal ,DrSunil Shenvi and the BGS Gleneagles global team is known to our family since my uncle's liver transplant surgery. We thank both doctors and the entire team for their care and constant support throughout the procedure and aftercare . When I met Dr. Venugopal ,it was a juncture of time when my uncle had been diagnosed with HCC and liver transplant was our only way forward . Dr Venugopal introduced us to Dr. Sunil during one of our visits. Both doctors were very co- ordial and formed a great team helping us with constant inputs about surgery and procedures involved. The faith we had in both doctors was so much, that we decided that my uncle travel from Kerala to be operated in Bengaluru.The initial major hurdle was to find suitable donor before further worsening of the disease . While the first hurdle was being crossed , a new problem arose in the form of first covid lockdown . Finding donors amidst lockdown and the scariness of inter state travel for patient,donor and doctors. The patient had shifted from Kerala and due to covid lockdown , it was getting difficult for the entire team to be present and the procedure was on standstill while the family was waiting everyday morning for some progress and new guidelines .Between all these trying times,the doctors helped us through our decisions and took a risk in operating 4 persons ( two recpients and related donors)on the same day amidst covid lockdown ,enabling a successful transplant . We had to take care of our uncle( recipient) aunt( donor) after the procedure .The aftercare , especially during covid times required extra effort and care. The doctors and the entire medical team at BGS have been very caring and were always available for our queries at any time of the day or night during the hospital as well as after the discharge. I used to be in constant touch with Dr Venugopal and Dr. Sunil almost everyday and yet ,everytime I called they would be patient with me, while answering my queries . The doctors have been very patient and cordial during the entire postprocedure , weaning from medication and have always guided the family during the minor ups and downs all along the process of recovery. My brother (uncle's son) recently had his engagement and my uncle could attend the ceremony happily almost a more than a year after the transplant . Even to this day Dr. Venugopal and Dr Sunil follow up with the patient personally , monitoring tests and giving timely advice and care . We are very grateful to Dr. Venugopal , Dr. Sunil for having given a new lease of life and adding to the happiness of our family . I would like to extend a special thanks to Sister Veena and the nursing team , Ms.Shalini in the team for their constant care and support.

Sunil sir is very kind hearted person and he helps many patients. I would say my story. My wife had pregnancy related complications and Sunil sir helped me a lot and guided me what I should be doing in such condition. His words were more than anything during that situation. Upcourse gynaecology department of BGS hospital is very good. It shows that he goes beyond his limitation and help people. Because of Sunil sir I could save my wife.

He is the best transplant surgeon I have ever seen, even though i have gone through many surgeon's consultation before my surgery I have found Dr sunil shenvi and his team are the best, no hide and seek, very transparent and one of rhe best surgeon in the world with a very high success rate. I was suffering with NAFLD (non alcoholic fatty liver disease) which led to cirrhosis and complete liver failure. I needed a new liver and found a deceased donor at Bangalore, and also the saviour who would help me live with the new liver. That saviour is Dr. Sunil Shenvi.

I had a liver transplant surgery on 17/12/2021at the age of 22.I showed government hospital in or native place they referred to JSS hospital ( Mysore)after showing their I got that im there in end stage of liver failure and doctors said that I can live few days . And also their told about liver transplant surgery may can help you to resurvive .first i thought it can't possible but doctors guided me how it will be helpful and usefull . Also doctors informed me Liver transplant surgery need a same blood group and it should be given by only family members .I did all tests thankfully me and my mother
had a same blood group so doctors told ur mother can give liver to you . First i thought I will not work or a best choice I made.doctors are always guided me .i hospitalised near one month they did all tests to me and. My mother .than they referred BGS global hospital (Bangalore)Dr.sunil D shenvi Sir . After 12 hours surgery doctors removed my old liver and transport new liver .at present im surviving because of it . during surgery I lost lot of blood .after surgery I was feeling better now and I'm recovering soon because all doctors .🙏.my special thanks to my mother because she gave birth already but she gave rebirth in my life ❤️ and also I'm thankful to Dr sunilD shenvi Sir.for making my surgery successful and giving me a new life😊
