I consulted the Dr. for the treatment below –

- Two root canals
- One implant

On the 2nd day of the consultation, X-Ray result presented a twist – one of the root canals was not viable as the tooth decay was beyond what a root canal could handle, and required multiple sessions to attempt a success through root canal option. So, I was given an option to go with an implant.

The revised treatment now included one root canal and two implants.

Root canal was carried out in two sessions, and it was handled well. I was being updated on the various stages of each session as the Dr. worked her way through the tooth. It took two 30-min sessions on two consecutive days, and the task was completed successfully.

A couple of days later the ceramic cap measurement was taken.

For the two implants, one was just an implant while the other was an extract & implant.

Tooth extraction and implants were done in a single session, approx. 45 mins. Again, the experience here was thoroughly professional.

Few days later I was called again for fixing the cap followed by a cleaning session. The ceramic cap was fixed, and it has been around 10 to 12 days now, I have observed no issues. I am taking the normal precautions with the type of food I eat – that’s about it.

Stitches due to the implant were removed on Friday (8/27) and one more cleaning session was conducted by the Dr., which concluded the 1st leg of the treatment.

The 2nd part of the implant will be carried out after few months based on the bone growth around the implant, and subsequent X-ray outcome.

Overall, a very positive experience with the Dr. and her team of junior / visiting Doctors. Their experience and inputs were helpful during consultation. They listen to your problems and suggest accordingly, rather than rushing into consultation to handle multiple patients or trying to adopt a one-template-fits-all strategy.
