Presidency College Marina Ground

Marina cricket ground reminds me to rollback my memory during school days. This ground will mesmerize you to play cricket. Very well maintained by Simpson & Co Ltd and a few years back cricket pitch was relaid. Now it is like a very good turf, and a good bouncy track. I remember in 2010, sponsored by sports development authority of india there was an exhibition match played between premier south australian XI and Cheif minister XI. With air flowing flawlessly from marina beach, and well surrounded by green trees and lush green outfield, one could easily be magnetized and mesmerized to play cricket there.

Playing at this place would give complete different experience.

Nice ground.
Lush green outfield except few patches.
Outfield is fast.
But only concern is the pitch ..no grass..there is nothing for bowlers.
Overall environment is good.

Located in the heart of the city, Marina cricket ground is one of the best mainteained cricket grounds in Chennai. Kudos to the marksman, staff members and the management who stirves to keep this busy ground, neat, clean and green.

Even people come from far off places to play here and enjoy the week end time.

Nice maintenance pitch has grass, but low bounce sea breeze is lit overall gud ground with all facilities.

The ground could be better maintained. They are charging more than 10k per day for usage of the facility and the basic facility such as rest room was not clean enough to such an extent that the stench was unbearable. It was like as though the toilets were not cleaned for few weeks. Poor maintenance overall.
