THIS GROUND LAND WAS DENOTED BY KOKAVARIS LANDLORDS ALONG WITH MANY OTHER LANDS FOR THE VILLAGERS AND THEY WANTED THIS TO BE GROUND ALWAYS FOR THE CHILDREN AND YOUNG PEOPLE.THIS WAS DONATED TO SHRI MYLAPILLI SATYARAJULU GARU WHO SERVED AS A BIG TIME POLITICIAN OF 36 YEARS INDEPENDENTLY AND WHO SHOULD BE A ROLE MODEL FOR MANY OF PRESENT POLITICIANS WHO NEVER MADE.SO GROUND IS FOR PLAYING NOT FOR POLITICAL PARTY INTERESTS.

Kalingapatnam is great place for beach view and a beautiful light house. And over it has well formed cricket ground. Were local Players are trained there as part of Srikakulam District. More over it is a beautiful place.i will visit again.

Need to change outfield near cover..ground was good. But near covers boundary it was uneven
