District & Session Court

A very big and spacious court. Only drawback is that it is a bit away from the Aurangabad Bench of Bombay High Court.

Its a old structure with poor staff as no is able to guide for the reason we were there to pay a penalty. They were sending us from one place to another. We just moved around with the reciept and there is no lift in this smaller court and is around four floors. Tobbaco spit in almost all the corners. There is a xerox facility at first floor and the court are comparatively quite small. There is parking and its chargable

New Court building , all court room are numbered , ,secured by police , specious place , free legal aid is available , one biggest court building in marathwada , not much clean but it's ok ok clean place , nice place

The building housed civil courts, criminal courts and District and sessions Court. Thus for common folks all the trial and lower courts are here in this building with the first appellate court.

District and session court and jmfc courts are same building

Aurangabad District Court old building was constructed in 1932 A.D. during the erstwhile Hyderabad State. It was a load bearing structure.The work of construction was carried out with bricks in lime mortar. The plaster of the building was also made in lime mortar. The roof of the building was arches made with bricks in lime mortar supported with iron beams. It was an excellent example of artistic work. It was 'C' Shaped building. In 2006, it was not possible to repair the old District Court building in low expenses it was decided to build new building. The work of construction of new building was started on 9.2.2007 by Ms. Ellora Construction Co. Aurangabad.
