Ygdrasill Bamboo Cottage

There is something very spiritual about being away from the hustle and chaos of a city in such a relaxing place. The homely and relaxing atmosphere is beyond words and pictures. The beauty of the place is further augmented by the hospitality and the friendly behaviour of the hosts there. You can just sit on your cottage's balcony, and gaze at the countless stars and the milky way in a cloudless night, unpolluted by light and sound. The local food cooked by the in-house cook is very tasty. We will definitely visit again.

Beautiful location, food was good. Those were the only positives we experienced. The staff seemed less professional. They needed push for every request we had. No food item is available on the spot and everything has to be pre-ordered. Even when you do that the quantity of food was less. The bamboo cottages needed repair. We requested hot water but they never delivered.

The huts are authentic and the place is really photogenic especially in evenings.
Please note that because of the geography and the place being close to nature and away from city and mainland, it is pretty rustic and raw.
There will insects, mosquitoes etc.

Good place to stay if you don't need luxury. Cottages are decent and toilets are clean. Best part is located in nice n peaceful environment. You will wake up by songs on Birds.

It's easy to reach this place and it is also next to a petrol station. The food served here is nice and you can ask them to prepare things a coding to your taste and preference. The place is beautiful no doubts in that, but if your basic necessities are not fulfilled it becomes a little itchy. The bathrooms are clean but there is no steady water, there are no locks on the doors even the bathroom locks are broken or won't lock properly, this is quite alarming as it raises the privacy and safety issues. The property had servers who were creepy and were asking numbers from our fellow female friends. Safety is the main concern as this place is almost dead after sun

We stayed at the bamboo cottage. Overall the place is very aesthetic, and easily accessible. Cottages are amidst nature facing a pond and gets super cold in winters. Morning views are mesmerising!

Very beautiful and clean place. Rooms are well designed and it has such an excellent sunrise view. Staffs are very polite and helpful. I would like to stay here if I visit Majuli again.

We stayed here for 2 days.. Mr. Beda's people are very helpful and kind..
They even made pure veg. Khichadi for us with butter.

The accomodation is comfortable and economical as well.

We took bicycle from them and went to Anuaiti satra.

In the night we enjoyed the bonfire and gossips.
