ATS complex Chennai

I love very much this Tower to see all flights and chennai. This view is Awesome. But it's a Authority Tower "Public Not Allowed".

Located near to Chennai international airport this is where the heart of airport is located. Air Traffic Services are provided from this complex to all aircrafts departing and landing at Chennai and surrounding airports as well as overflying aircrafts.

Place from where people or say Air Traffic Controllers guide and guard the sky for civil aviation. Having one of the best enroute control facilities and infrastructure in India. All the departure and Arrivals at Chennai airport are handle from ATC tower.
This is the collaborative effort by ATC & CNS executives to conduct safe, orderly and expeditious flow of air traffic whether on ground or in sky.
The normal day traffic at Chennai airport handled is more than 500 flight movements.

Houses Air Traffic Control facilities to cater to the the flights operating in and out of chennai airport as well as overflying flights and all the flights operating in the upper airspace across Southern India/ Chennai Flight Information Region(FIR)

This is Airports Authority of India property and not a public place. I was here to meet an employee of AAI. I believe the location, access and facilities will be as per the requirement.

Excellent work done by the CNS team of Airports Authority of India for maintaining the Communication, Navigation and Surveillance systems of Chennai Airport. Kudos to RCDU team for the installation of Navigation facilities also.

As an ATCo,I can say this place is Heart and soul of Indian aviation sector.
