Seva Bharati Mahavidyalaya

I have been visiting the area of Kapgari where the Seva Bharati institution is located. The institution was founded in 1948 by late Professor Pabitra Kumar Sen, Emeritus Professor, Calcutta University. Seva Bharati Mahavidyalaya was established in 1964 in continuation of the effort to bring education to the region. After almost fifty years this college has shown excellent progress in bringing education and improving the region's social and economic conditions. When we see the role of these units within the larger context of Professor Sen's mission and dream I get overwhelmed with the sense of greatness of his soul. This region was and still is one of the poorest region in India and how education, self-awareness and the continued efforts of the people of Seva-Bharati and the villagers have overcome their poverty and has become more successful.

I was a student in2005- 2008 I loved the college now its more furnished. Recommended to all.

Seva Bharati Mahavidyalaya also Known as Kapgari College, is an Undergraduate, Coeducational College situated in Kapgari, Jhargram, West Bengal. It was established in 1964. The college is under Vidyasagar University. The college is recognized by the University Grants Commission (UGC).

Love this college alot . Teachers helps alot in studies and motivates us alot . The location is also great surrounded with nature . Everything is great here you will love to study in this college. I' ve spent my golden time here and I can't forget this place. The college, nature and the rural life everything is blissful . The beauty of this place will definitely mesmerize you if you are coming from an urban area and can turn you into a romantic poet like Shelly and Thomas Hardy if you are a keen observer and a creative thinker. I would suggest every one to come and study in this college and fill up your college memories with the beauty of nature and the rustic life of this place.
