The area is very calm and peaceful. This medical college is ready for MBBS study. New Hospital has been prepared temporarily for covid patients. The hospital is 10th floor with a very good infrastructure. Administrative building is in front with centralized ac with two big library. With a common room for ladies and gents. There are staff, teacher,doctor and nurse quaters with hostels for girls and boys. Playground,garden, swimming pool are under construction. Canteen are available in all the buildings. Only one sbstc bus is available from purulia bus stand to medical college frequently.

It's a medical college & super speciality hospital which is developing very much. Oxygen plant has also come up in the premises. Far from the city, a peaceful place with student hostels, staff quarters, resident quarter with local greenery changing its attire seasonally. Yes the famous Lal Mati area people are proud of. Jaebek na dekhte, Chhow nritya!

Newly opened medical college in 2020 . Faculties and staffs are awesome and very helpful. Distance between hospital and medical college is approximately 4 to 5 km. It is a different experience as everything is new. Rooms are also nicely built. Currently only Forensic medicine and toxicology department (FMT dept.) is functioning here . Near future we can expect other departments will be shifted here from main hospital to decrease work load and better facilities.
