Pragati College Of Education

I applied for B.Ed course and I waited for the merit list to get publish. It got published in around 3:30pm on 28/09/2022 and it was clearly written on the admission portal of wbuttepa.ac.in (the university it is affiliated with) that in order to get the admission the candidates must visit the college by 29/09/2022 and the college was suppose to submit the final selected list of candidates by 11:59 pm on 29/09/2022. I visited the college on the same day at 11:30 a.m. and they made me wait for 2 hrs. After that they called me in their office and told that all seats were already filled and told me that there was no seat for the merit candidates and they have already sent the list of selected candidates. I was on no.1 according to merit list prepared by wbuttepa ( The West Bengal University of Teachers' Training, Education Planning and Administration). When I objected they told me "Aise nahi karenge toh hamara college kaise chalega?".
Moreover, the staffs over there have no sense of respect for the students and their gaurdian and by totally neglecting our situation they were laughing on us. There were also other meritorious students who came all the way from Kolkata for their admission and at last I had to come home without getting admission inspite of being a first rank holder in a merit list. I was totally discouraged by such treatment meted out and moreover my entire year got wasted because of them.

An institute which doesn't only train the teachers according to the syllabus but beyond that. Loving it here. ❤️❤️
Frankly gets tough sometimes but the Assistant Professors here are so radiant, friendly and yes the office staff, non-teaching staff too always ready to help .
I don't know whether PCOE is the best B.Ed Institute or not but i m enjoying my time here , the 2022-2024 batch.

My Institute inspired me to think differently.. M very grateful that I belong from this institute.. M Proud to be a part of it.. Proud to be a prgatian❤🤗 But m going to miss my purest soul very much. Lots of love 💕💌 B.Ed..
