My opinion
Recently. Completed my BE marine engineering from this college
Advantages
You will get good faculties, njoyable classes ,anbazhagan sir from {british petroleum} is my favourite faculty
Director sir is way too strict and bit funny always remembering his monkey story And exmaples and slangs
After 5 o clock college is under you ,you can njoy and final years can take control all over as well
First years life is bit otugh because of routined life
These are advantages
In short
You can learn ,discipline, njoyment in hostel and class, and good food excellent in terms expct weekends.

Disadvantages
Poor lab technicians especially you will lag in electrical if you dont study yourself

As it is out of 80 students maximum 8 students get placed.5 in kline ship management and 2 in mol and 1 or 2 in synergy as well out of this 5 is directly placed in k line others are common exam for evryone all over chennai .
No swimming pool
No proper gym
Ground is okay but not that big
Space is less
Mosquitos
Air circulation is less
Too humid climate area.
Thank you
Alumni from VAMET.

College facilities are good, study wise its among best college, teaching staff is the best, we do celebrate all cultural events here. Placements are slightly on average level but its increasing each year by multiple companies coming to take cadets.

Very bad college. Bad management. Teachers take students' mobile phones and don't return them. If I talk about the food, the north Indians are struggling hard in there. The hostel is very untidy. Students can die of mosquito bites. Seniors are not at all supportive. Waste of money. I'd also like to request the college to return my son's mobile phone which is worth rupees 70,000rupees. Or otherwise buy him a new phone.
CONCLUSION- Waste of money.

Let me say in detail (this is 100% true)
Advantages:
*Good instructors. *Good food
*Good atmosphere. *Good discipline
*Good facilities. * Fair fees structure
Disadvantages:
*Less placement opportunities
*No swimming pool
*Little interior location you have to travel about 4 kilometre from the main.
*Play ground is comparatively small.

MY SUGGESTION: THIS IS A GOOD COLLAGE TO JOIN.
