Mary Matha College of Arts & Science

I think this college was meant to be a prison but couldn't....still the rules are just like in a prison . Freedom is equal to zero. The fees is just absurd compared to the facilities provided...and the studies ..its better not to say . Coz we won't get the knowledge we paid for and the excuse is frustrating . Just check the lamest reply for this review . Approach this college at your own risk .

If you want to pursue forensic science, never join this college. The college doesn't give more attention on academics. The field of forensic requires more practical knowledge. But the college doesn't provide lab practicals for the student. The college is blaming pandemic. There were 1.5 years of offline class. Still with the time period, they don't give much concern over it.

The Parents send there children's to the colleges for studying in there state or the other states in there state the childern has any emergency case or any hospital cases happen the parents can come fast and do the needful if they are in an other state and and emergency situation happens they can't do anything immediately so we have to depend on the college management and that is also the responsibility of the college management to provide needful to students get them hospital immediately but the Mary Matha College don't provide the needful to the students in the campus there is a car for the college purpose it can also use for the emergency situation but they won't use that they said take the rickshaw and go to hospital and pay the bill also .. in hostel some of the people have no money if they need an hospital emergency they have no money to pay the hospital bill .and the management we don't give the money if you want to come back from the hospital pay the bill other wise stay with the patients that's there attitude my batchmates all have an incident in the campus a girl was unconscious due to asthma and her inhaler was in the hostel she has to be use the inhaler immediately in that situation other wise It will affect her badly and the sir in the class was sending her two friends to take the inhaler immediately but the hostel warden won't allow to enter the hostel and also it was been locked and the warden said that she has no key and the key was on another person hand and the girls situation was very badly and the hod of the department take her to the hospital by an rickshaw the won't provide the car the doctor said the thanks to God you're late for an 5 minutes she will lose her life .and after that a student see's that the key was in the wardens hand and a big protest was begin and if anything happen to the girl the management will be responsible for that.

This college is not giving importance to sports .

Post script : once in every year they conduct sports day, this kind of importance they are giving to sports or extracurricular activity.

For eg : They will install cameras on every corners daybyday. But for 500 hostel students they provide only two shuttle court and In that, one will be played by the management.

It is also one of the few colleges in india who doesnt have practice nets for cricket.👏

For Every student there dream is to join for degree in a good college . That is also a dream of the parents too .. if you have an dream like that you won't join in the Mary Matha College for ug or pg you will be regreting for the past three years .. A student will be a graduate by studing . But in that campus you can't study peacefully and also you won't get proper teaching if you only need notes by pdf you can recharge the data .and study in home . Don't waste the money and the precious time period of three years.. I am the living example for that I didn't get proper teaching from the department they only give pdf and if we want to pass the examination we have to study on other colleges they will give good teaching and there responsible to teach us but Mary matha college won't take the responsibility at last I am sharing my experience to you I think it will needful to you. on my first year University semester examination I don't pay the full semester fees due to my bank home loan and the management won't allow to right the exam on time the exam was start at 10 am and I wrote the exam on 11: 45 .. I am waiting in the office for the provisional Hall ticket was provide my the management ..I won't get the provisional Hall ticket . if we have the Hall ticket then only we can attend the exam I got the hall ticket by 11:45 and sadly I fail in the exam because of I didn't get the time to attend all the questions..

I dont know if cockroaches in food is a part of management said freedom with responsibility or wonderful facilities you provide....i mean uncooked chicken , feather in the curry , ...first you show the responsibility ... Asking the student to not eat if he didnt like the way the food is.... Show some C-O-N-C-E-R-N For you students......
Don't reply for this review with a utter nonsense..ok ...go enquire the students if the said thing is true or not . And another incident is that .....the food we ate was poorly prepared ...so we the asked the kitchen to staff to prepare it properly ..they said that go meet the principal ...so we did that ..they asked us go stay outside if we don't like the food , ..now if we want to stay outside the campus ...we still have to pay the hostel fees...because its package ...its the biggest scam i have ever seen and i feel cheated........they give you the option for everything but you can't do anything that benefits the college so just forget about basic freedom...and be ready to suffer ..if you all are still planning to join the college..all the best.

One of the finest college for rural students especially for boys around the district.
Unfortunately missed half of our days here.
There is freedom but with responsibility.
Using that in a good way is in the hands of students. Don't think college life will be as shown in movies. If you think so definitely you will ruin your life. Staffs are friendly as well as responsible.
