In total high level infrastructure,The college is run by mohammed sathak trust.They placed this college in a rural area which is helpful for the rural people to acquire high education ,also they ensure an average affordable fees structure for students.For muslim students 2 mosques are available in the compound itself.Boys and girls interactions are restricted in campus.But school type teaching and also insufficient lab facilities and placement opportunities.The college not provide much promotions for extra curricular activities.The arts and science collage,polytechnic college and ITI are located nearer to the engineering institution.

Having been part of Department of Architecture, Mohamed Sathak Engineering College (MSEC) for the past 6 years, I am always happy and proud to be part of this institution. MSEC is the first Self-Fnancing Engineering College in Tamilnadu started in 1984. Similarly Architecture Department started in 1993 (27 years old), was one of the pioneer self-financing department which is successfully supporting the regions students who aspire themselves to be an Architect.

The institution has always been an important life changing place for many students, especially in and around Kilakarai.

Mohamed Sathak Engineering College is the engineering college in Tamil Nadu started in the year 1984. It is sponsored by the Mohamed Sathak Trust of Chennai. The College had started functioning in early October 1984. AICTE had approved all the Courses being conducted by this institution.Department of Marine Engineering educates and imparts skills required to operate and manage machineries in modern ships of merchant marine fleet. A career in the Merchant Marine as an Engineer Officer can be a rewarding one both financially and in terms of job satisfaction. For the able young officer, the system provides a smooth and rapid path of career development. The process is likely to take less than eight years from the commencement of cadetship till qualifying with Class 2 Certificate.Best college for marine engineering.

Its a good circumstances and having good education here. New addings, new inspiration, innovative classes and teaches are here. So many courses for the engineering based subjects and polytechnic college, Arts college and etc, colleges and courses offered here.

College is very good but hostel is not at all good don't come to stay here to hostel you can admit here if you willing to take up and down admission

Sharing my personal experience, all the departments of our college is excellent and keen on the development of education of students especially our Civil Department. Peaceful environment. Friendly Home-like atmosphere.
The central library which possess umpteen number of books as well as department libraries for each department. Our college nurtures our talent and help us to shine bright in our field.
Many talented staff members some holding PhD and other pursuing, helps students on their academic and their career life. If you want to shine in your field, our college is no less than any other college for your development.

Mohamed Sathak engineering college was located in ECR.. One of the most oldest private Engineering college in Tamilnadu.. The nearest State students also studied here.. This college has good infrastructure and provide the good education to the Students...

Average educational institution. They need to hire the Staffs(Lectures and Professors) in terms of talents not on religion based.

No campus placement. Salt water for Hostel students. Need to improve hostel facility. Most of the staffs are rude especially Physics department.
