Indore Institute of Management and Research is a place of learning, transformation of a personality and acquiring new skills. The institute has great academic infrastructure, sports facilities and ground, qualified and dedicated faculties, hygienic canteen and separate hostels for boys and girls. Our class has got great industry exposure through various industry visits, expert talks and interactions. Apart from quality academics the college focuses on extracurricular activities and sports also. We had fun filled moments also in celebrating various festivals, annual functions, outbound training and educational tours, etc. Our Director General sir is very motivating and promotes every possible constructive activity for students. Sir launched a merit based scholarship which was very rewarding for students who have performed well in exams or sports. Our institute believes in 360 degree transformation of the students , We have a CDC team ,who starts grooming the students from first year only. I am sure we will have great times in the remaining session also.

One of the finest decision I took was selecting IIMR, as it says the time of crises often clarifies the priorities, this is what I have learnt about IIMR in current situation. At IIMR students skill development through SIG is the utmost priority. Additionally the initiative of psychological and mental well being of the students is also taken during covid times. Under this initiative Respected DG sir interacts with the students to and answer their queries related to career dilemma, personal problems etc. Syndicate incharges have been allocated to students who are in regular connect with them to take care of their well being along with their academic needs.

I must say IIMR is one of the college that provides me the balance of academic learning along with the ample exposure to the industry. Even during the times of pandemic, when physical exposure to industry is limited, we have been provided different opportunities in the form of webinars and expert lectures. Through theses we are able to get the current industry trends that help us to prepare ourselves for the future placements and internships. Along with these lectures we have been given regular guidance from the placement department right form the beginning.

One the best thing I have received being the student of Indore Institute of Management and Research (IIMR) is the opportunity to enhance my skills through ‘SIG’ . One of the best initiative under the leadership of respected DG sir to enhance to the skill quotient of students. Through SIG’s different certifications are given to us through which we can have edge over others during our placements and internships. SIG’s along with the academic teaching helps us to develop our skill and knowledge base. I believe through this initiative I have already learnt many skills like basic and advance excel, Reading Financial Statements etc.

My BBA with IIMR is a wonderful joyride. We started on offline classes and then to sudden transformation to online classes. The transition went really smooth with flipped classrooms and no compromise on academics or the support and guidance of mentors. Every person in my batch stayed in personal connect with the teachers who made extra efforts to keep us engaged in classes, assessments and various webinars. Our Industry trainings went on through SIGs. The best part is that the trainings for placements too was constant and we witnessed many internships and placements, despite pandemic. I am therefore sure for my future with IIMR and its placements.

The MBA Programme offered by IIMR aims to provide fair and equal access to everyone. Students here are not restricted to particular specialization, rather they gain sufficient exposure to different management functions both practically and theoretically. Students here are provided with Mentors who focus on personal grooming. A lot of seminars and conferences like finance conference, entrepreneurship conference are held very frequently that give a lot of practical exposure. The infrastructure and management is good too. The Guidance provided by the faculty members is valuable. With the coronavirus hitting the entire nation and making things stagnant, IIMR made sure that no compromise is made on the academic part and hence regular online classes are conducted by all the faculty members. Regular sessions with Respected Director General Sir are also held via online mode. In-house skill development programs like SIGs made us industry ready. All and all it's great to be part of such a renowned institute.
