It's a good college cantains both agriculture and sericulture with a campus of 187 acers which is 8 km away from the chintamani best place for students to learn agriculture and sericulture

NOT FOR ICAR STUDENTS... Don't choose this college during councelling.. better choose main campus otherwise choose other University..
If you are choosing this college through icar exam then something you should know before coming here that you won't regret later..talking about the location this college is located 8 km away from Chintamani which hardly takes 15 minutes to reach.. you can get a bus all time till 8.30pm..Its far away from urban life..if you like calm and peaceful environment you will like this place but if you are searching city life this place is not for you.this is a complete village..but if you are coming for studies only then these things won't bother you... hostel is good with new buildings..food available here is typical South Indian where you will get rice all the time..chapati also given at lunch and dinner and one time tea in the evening..so if you are north indian you have to adjust and you will get in shape ..if you want to eat something you have to go to Chintamani because nothing much available in canteen except some snacks.. talking about classes teachers are good and you will get good marks in exams for sure.. but you will get a lot of assignments to improve your handwriting..Transportation is a little bit issue.. you have to travel 4 hrs to reach banglore..Icar students,don't choose this college if they tell you to choose during councelling.. better choose mandya.. for icar people no facilities are given..u will stuck here for 4 years.. mainly not for girls.. they won't allow you to go any where.. mainly they target icar girls.. girl's warden is so strict towards icar students..so icar students don't go there,it will be nightmare for you...
