Considered best college of Surat and part of Sarvajanik Education Society which is more than 100 years old. I studied here and knows the points why it's better and perfect for a student having best environment to evolve and progress.

11. They have their many small clubs i.e. Dancing, Drama, Reading, Coding - SCET having E-Magazzine too and they publish it in every semester

Sarvajanik college of engineering and technology (SCET) is located in centre of Surat city. It is very well-known and reputed institute of Surat city. There are so many courses of engineering like Civil, Electrical, Textile, Chemical, Electronics and Communication, Information and Technology etc. There are post graduation courses also available for Engineering. There is architecture field also in the same college which is very good for this field in gujarat. There is canteen facilities is also available in the college campus. Surat international airport is about 10 km from here. The education is very costly compare to other colleges.

College Infrastructure

Infrastructure was better when college was established but now a days as none of the investment is done on infrastructure by administration it has been quite outdated and not up to the mark . The buildings are like so old.

Academics

Quality of teaching can be considered as good but not the best as most of the faculties teach here just for the sake of their duty not for students' benefit . Some of the teachers from other branches are like unbearable.

Placements

Placement is not as it should be , companies visit the campus every year but the package they offer to the students who have invested their entire 4 years to get a healthy package is not as per students' expectations.

Value-for-money

From my point of view we can't get our value for money if the institution doesn't change its pattern of management, it's rude behaviour towards their student and many other things.

Campus Life

There is a dome in the college (students affection ) ,a canteen but nothing else to actually enjoy your college life which us really for any student.

Anything Else

Library is not updated, even after 25 years of establishment the institute is unable to create it's place in top colleges of gujarat.College doesn't possess any permanent play ground the one which is there is in sharing with commerce and arts college.

Overall well maintained college. Study wise you need to step up yourself because study in every college is average so do yourself and enhance your skill in order to get good placement
