Am a student of Gargaon College ,, which was really very good ,also the teachers of the college are very helpful and they always stand for us in every critical moment , their style of teaching and the method I love the most ..

Gorgaon the name of wetness first captial of Assam during axom King as we know sharideow. College means one of the best place of higher education institutions.when any institutions name add with historical place itself automatically famous and chargebel to there students and lecturer department. and offically I am not a student of this college but as a well wisher I am always filling happy when Gorgaon college student achievement.

The atmosphere of the college is amazing. As a student, I'm happy with the faculty and my department family

Gargaon College was established during 1959,it's environment is very peculiar,it's around the man made Earthen surrounding by Ahom Dynasty for the protection,called Garh,We had once 2nd batch of Physics dept during 1991 ,the College has been growing slowly and now many Post graduate department are allowed to pursue like English,Pol SC,etc by Dibrugarh University,late ex principals like Mr Tanu Konwar, freedom fighter Late Trailykokya Saikia and many more Gargayan (local folks) laid the foundation of the college,we have listened that Ex MLA Mr Konwar Sir had once done physical labour to build the college.But opposite ly in name of teaching some teachers didn't give importance to its pupils ,so the results, they was interested then only political parties ,not students,we have gained such experience, now after NAAC the pace of Gargaon College has been improving,but the exceccive tree 🌲 planatation in its ground decreasing the old charm of Gargaon College,needs utmost attention to plant trees with a scientific way
