Assam Engineering College

I rate it 5 star because it deserve it. It is the pride of the Assam. It is the first engineering college of the entire north - east. It it surrounded by hill, Deepar bill. It has a good connectivity with the city. Also the environment is quiet and calm. It also has a well established Canteen.

Peaceful place ... Transport facility is less... environment is calming..

Had fun spending 4 years of my life here. The classes, the club activities, the interactions and the connections you make here are truly priceless.
All the fests and events organised here are also something which I remember fondly.
I am proud to have studied here.

Excellent quality of education is provided here. The students are really gem. I know many such students of this college placed in top positions.

Excellent Temple of Technical Education and learnig in Assam. Attended 1966 to 1971.

The area is too large...
Its very much difficult to find the exact building .
Located to great hilly mountains. Very peace place. Also you will find all way green.
Also, SBI bank and post office are available. I dont know about studies and branch of study.
But very beautiful place.

Onething I like to point out okay this college in Assam I have no disrespect for the language but being a engineering College our every books are in English but teachers are explaining in Assamese not only explaining they talk in Assamese they walk in Assamese everything Assamese Assamese. Teachers can't even talk much in English. Because of these thing we suffer and lack of job govt of Assam pls bandh kardo make like IIT GUWAHATI. N we don't have best teachers esse acha YouTube se padh lu

A majestic college and the pioneer engineering College of Assam / North East. This is the 1984-1989 batch AECian. At that time, it had quota for all North Eastern States students and it was a melting point where all engineering students of 8 stat s of North East India studied.
