Run by a co-operative society known as," Uttar Ajay Krishak Samabaya Himghar Limited". Nearly 50000 packets of potato each containing 50 kgs are kept here. Lotus flowers, eggs, seasonal fruits and seasonal vegetables are kept here at (-) 40 degree centigrade temperature to keep it as it is for customer's requirement in time. There is a pond behind the cooling tower of this cold storage at the back side. In front there is a office to manage all the performance and also for looking after the commercials. Plenty of trees are here to make the surroundings green and cool. It is a common facility centre for the farmers and businessmen. But at present the businessmen, commission agents and traders are overpowering the farmers. This cold storage is a assured store house for local businesses and commercial market of Bolpur Block, Birbhum, West Bengal, India.
