Indian Coffee House,Kollam

Place does not have the same feel as the old. Current version looks more like a low class restaurant. Places does not look all that clean. The servers also does not look professional as they used to. I doubt if i will ever visit this particular coffee house ever again.

I don't know what's happening to coffee houses. Once it was like the pride of Kerala. And the only one I liked is the one on the way to Alappuzha, I think near cherthala.
And this one at kollam is a complete mess. Coming to the negatives
1. Cleanliness: The washroom and hand wash area are the worst. Please put some effort into cleaning the washroom. At least it's an Indian coffee house. The dining area looks like a local hotel, no lights.
2. Food: The food was average. Ordered porotta and beef roast, cutlets and tea. Porotta was good and beef curry was like beef mixed in chilli water.
3. Service: As like any other ICH, the service is pathetic. You have to wait for a year for someone to attend the table.
4. Parking and accessibility: ICH is somewhat inside and is situated right beside a theatre. So when the show is running in the theatre, parking becomes a problem.
You can find better hotels at kollam, try those.

Good food with a very nice service. Their chicken curry is very good. The atmosphere is very calm. An old fasioned restaurant with old tables and chairs but I'll give you a calming feel.

Nothing as expected!!
Food was cold and lacked flavours. Biryani was simply rice and dosa wasn't tasty either. Won't recommend at all. You could see it was short staffed; only couple of them and they looked exhausted.

Indian coffee house never disappoints, good food and good service. Best part lot of parking space …

As always had cutlet and tea. I'm a crazy fan of Indian Coffee House cutlet. The service was excellent... And the price is very very reasonable...

Indian Coffee House is famous for its traditional foods all over India. The coffee house Kollam is situated near KSRTC stand and in heart of city. Sufficient parking space is available in front of coffee house. The food quality is in below average level comparing to other outlets of coffee house.
