Every year local devotees solemnly fast and worship to Maa Durga at this place.
From many decades peoples from all across the town Jhargram come to pray and get blessings from Maa.

Purbasha Pujo Mandap is neither a temple nor a permanent structure. Inhabitants of the area organise Durga puja every year duly construct a attractive pandel and arrange Durga Puja.Numbers of visitors from every corner of Jhargram and surrendering paid their visit and enjoyed.

Purbasa(club) is one of the famous for its "Durga Puja" & social campaigns like blood donations,food distribution for poors, drawing competition etc in Jhargram district. Every year we have beholdered different attractive theme of "Puja Pandal" & "Durga Murti". The club cautious about pollution control & give to the society a brief massage about beautiful green environment by creating their theme & surrounding ambience.
