Situated at esplanade, Tribes India outlet is run by Ministry of Tribal affair, Govt. Of India. Different handcraft and handloom products are available here, which is made by tribal community of different parts of India. By purchasing anything, you will get a 'friend of tribal' reward card, through which you can get 20% off on all handicrafs and handloom products from next time purchases. But all these are very expensive. Here organically grown food grains, pulses, processed food, soaps, fragrance, tea are also available; which is comparatively reasonable in price. Treadmark items of India like 'Assam tea', ' Manipur Black rice', 'Mizoram dry chilli' etc. available here; which are cultivated by local tribes of different parts of India

Very good experience. Good behaviour. Items are authentic. Mainly handicrafts items available. Organic food available. Dresses like kurta, Punjabi, saree etc. This store is situated beside the Reliance jio store. Nearby metro station is Esplanade.

Very good products,authentic and very artistic.I have purchased few products online and from this shop of New Market area as wel and all are super and of genuine qualities.The only thing I felt,these tribes of our country need to be promoted a lot.Little we can imagine how artistic and creative these people are.Hence, for that I feel, sales promotions, advertisements need to go leaps and bounds over all social medias.The staffs of these stores need to more energetic,youthful,vibrant,speedy and keen enough for promoting sales.Product display needs to more organized with proper labels as to which products belong to which tribes of our states.As these stores belong to the Government of India and all are Govt staffs,what I realised is that automatically some lethargical attitude developes automatically within the storekeepers,storeheads and this is no complain ,nether offence against anyone,but my true realisation.

Tribes India office is located on S.N.Banerjee Road of Central Kolkata region. This showroom belongs to Ministry of Tribal affairs of Government of India. It is located near to the historic Bourne & Shepherd building. It is well connected through road and it is also accessible through Metro railway service as Esplanade Metro railway station is near to it.
