Jessami Bazaar

It's a small town associated ok the Easter most part of Manipur.
There were times where the moreh goods were more cheaper than Dimapur or any part of Nagaland but things have changed. Business people from this town have hike price on every product which made it too expensive. People no longer do shopping from here or else the the Pochury people and Chakhesang people mostly do their shoppings from this small town. Sooner this town will be forgotten after the road from Phek to Meluri is completed. I'll miss this town since this was once my fav town to do shopping. I have lots of memories in this town from my childhood days.
This town doesn't have many shops with just one bazaar line mostly occupied by Manipur, Tangkhul and Khezha people. Probably the population will be half-half.
The people here are mostly like how we Nagas are but I don't really like those manipur police walas, they neither knows Nagamese, Hindi nor English except their own language. Travellers often finds difficulty while conversing them. Encountering Manipur police is a hell of a problem if you don't know manipuri.

There is not much shop and not of standard shop but majority shop give product and whole sale rate

Just some shops and a few hotels. Not a bazar.

We get goods coming from Mymmar through Moreh in Manipur

Good...humble and polite people..also a clean and hygienic place

Quaint town flooded with burmese goods. Place where travellers frequently stop for food.

This bazaar offers you with all the local organic products including vegetables, fishes and many more which are not easily available in other places. The prices are also reasonable. Must check out this bazaar if you are crossing Jessami.

good. they variety of vegetables , fruits and dried fishes selling out there . you will also find product exported from Myanmar.
