This store is hands down the most beautifully designed places I have ever been to in Bangalore. Everything here is so damn pretty. Even the jewelery display is so attractive, it's more stunning than the actual jewelery there. I just loved the store.
As for the stuff here, the ceramic tableware is nice and I quite liked the garments too. They have a nice men's section too, complete with casual clothing and some cool accessories. There was a books n knick knacks section for kids too. Overall, a must visit 👍

The store and products are lovely, as always. However - Shopping at the store was disappointing , to be honest. I buy a lot of my gifts for friends and clients from Good Earth and this time I tried Nicobar too ( in fact the lovely lady at Good Earth suggested I should check it out because I was looking for something specific) - and frankly the experiences were completely opposite. There is no one to help, questions are curtly answered, you’re pretty much on your own. Even when asking about what is available or in stock, the attitude was reluctant, not at all warm. Product packaging is not great, mostly dented or damaged, the team makes zero effort to offer alternatives to damaged packaging, there is no gift wrapping option in the store. I was even told how one of the products I was purchasing didn’t have a box. Only when I repeatedly requested did someone look for a box and it was there ! I don’t get why I would need to ask for basic things like this. Despite being told the items were gifts, I was informed that price tags cannot be removed. Even after billing. These are basics. Right ? I love the products and I did not have the time to go around look for options in other stores. So I bought what I had selected. Any other day, I probably wouldn’t have.

We have gotten used to online shopping thanks to covid -19, but many people like me, love in store shopping because of the experience of it. Shopping at Nicobar felt cold and not at all in line with the brand’s advertised vibe or identity.

Bought a pair of pants from their online store. When it was delivered, found to be made of a very light and almost see through material which made it impossible for me to wear it outside. Hence wrote to their customer care asking for a return on this and this is what they had to say,

A regular customer at Nicobar, I have unfortunately had a very unpleasant experience with their service. I ordered the set of Nakono tapas plates from their website last week. I misunderstood the dimensions of these plates, clearly misled by the photos posted on their website. I also found it to be rather unconventional that their no exchange policy included home items. I have never seen that at any store. Being a luxury brand, I would think that customer service was priority. Despite repeated requests for an exchange of the product - and even offering to drop by the store and picking up a larger size, I got a standard response on their no exchange policy which I found to be quite impersonal and almost thoughtless. Strongly recommend you to read the fine print and definitely don't expect assistance from their customer service.

Siddharth at the Nicobar Store in Bangalore has provided best in class service. From helping me source the products i wanted to ensuring they were timely packed and delivered, while keeping me updated throughout, everything was perfectly done. Always a fan of the products, now a fan of the service. Great Job!

I had a seamless shopping experience at Nicobar. Firstly the staff at the store really put in a lot of effort to get the products I wanted as they weren’t in store. Syed and Siddharth were very very helpful. There was also a small technical error but their team was very responsive and proactive. Syed went out of his way to make sure my problem was solved and that I leave as a happy customer. The products and the experience was equally enjoyable.
