Due to Covid, we could not go to India to shop for our daughter's wedding so I took the online route. I contacted several stores - two in Surat ( one store promised to keep aside an outfit for me and didn't want my money to hold the outfit but next day when I called, they had accidentally sold it but were not upfront and showed me something else. The other store salesman never replied back to my inquires in a timely fashion. I contacted Gauri in Vadodara since I had shopped there in Jan 2020. They seemed to be too busy to get my business. The man I was working with was not interested in getting back to me about the products I had seen on instagram despite asking him several times.

SEQUINZE was another store I had visited in India so I decided to WhatsApp them after seeing an outfit on Facebook. Dilipbhai, the salesman, immediately replied back with prices and kindly suggested to get on a sales call to see other outfits. When I spoke to the lady, Shama, I immediately connected with her. Every NRI knows, how Indian salesmen are - they will always tell you everything looks good on you and push you to buy everything. My experience with Shama was totally different. She listened to what I needed, patiently over time, showed us things we would like based on what we have previously showed interest in. The most important aspect about her was she was not pushy at all yet tried her best to show us everything to our liking and was never afraid to tell me if I would or would not like something. It is rare to shop for Indian clothes with a woman salesperson. Have you ever wondered that? Our experience with her and her staff was so amazing that I ended up buying majority of the outfits and jewelry from there. We even paid Rs. 20000 more for the bridal outfit than from someone in Delhi because we trusted her and she had shown us the design first. The "made to order" wedding outfit was above and beyond my daughter's expectations. The photos show some of the products we purchased from there. All sarees you see are from there and we also bought a lot of choli's from there.

Another advantage we had in shopping there was they sell costume jewelry as well so once we selected the clothing, their jewelry sales women matched everything and showed us multiple selections to choose from. At first, we felt like we were being pushed to select something without thinking but slowly the salesperson realized that we were not wasting their time, we were simply picky customers. Their selection and quality is phenomenal and they can get you anything if it is not in the store.

Kalpi, the jewelry person, went above and beyond and even sent us tikka (Chandla packets) and asked us if we needed anything else from Vadodara and she would put it in the parcel. Shama went to the market and bought chaniya for my saris and blouse piece to get an extra blouse. It was easy to pay them for it esp since they would get the exact color. I purchased around 20-25 saris and matching jewelry for family as well and they sent everything wrapped and labeled so I didn't have to do anything when it arrived.

I can't thank SEQUINZE and it's staff enough for everything they did for us despite what was happening in India during the Covid period before vaccines. They were always happy to help no matter what their families or neighbors were going thru. At times, the store was closed and still Shama offered to go in just for us to which I declined since I didn't want to risk her health. We had time so we waited until the stores were open again. The parcels came intact and we paid the shipping costs on top of the merchandise. All packages came within a week of dispatch and paying was easy thru Western Union.

The quality and design of the products turned out to be better than the photos and FaceTime calls. You will not regret shopping at SEQUINZE, VADODARA.

Love the collection, the accommodating staff for any kind of alterations or arrangements.
Love the fact that they’ve everything ethnic under one roof being Clothes, Jewellery and even bags & belts!

The staff I felt was extremely disinterested once they came to know the budget at which I was looking for Bridal lehenga and even refused to show 1 piece more. I feel every customer is important irrespective of the fact that even if you are buying from Rs 1000 or Rs 1 lac. Kindly look into this perspective and treat your customers with respect

I visited the place today… for buying a heavy evening gown… first I was sent to a particular counter, where I was told to go to the billing counter and tell them about showing me different gowns… the person who was supposedly the owner, told me to wait for an hour when I could see that the place was not too busy… pathetic service, extremely unprofessional behaviour and zero consideration if they get a sale or not and what their customer thinks…
Visit this place only if you want to get ripped off of time and money…

They have good collection of Saree. Staff in Saree Section was very nice & Co-operative. We purchased 4 Sarees from here. But, we have very BAD EXPERIENCE in Grown Section downstairs. Nobody, was interested in showing us Grown. All, Sales Men were throwing on each other that he will show you. We got tired and left the showroom.

I went to india for my wedding shopping. Sequinze is the place to go for wedding shopping. I bought my reception and other events lehenga from there. Dilip was very helpful through out the process. I got designer lehenga for my reception, they didn’t have it available in the store at that point, so they took my measurements and got it later for me. They delivered to me on time as they said. Dilip and team made sure that it fits me perfectly via video call before dispatching it. I love love the lehenga, it’s exactly how I expected. I would definitely recommend this place. They have really nice collection.

They did not have the blouse that was my size and said we will make bigger size, took my measurement and at that time i told them do not make it low back. It was not ready when I left India and came with a friend. They totally messed up 3 off our blouses. I called and told them and now they are saying you gave the measurement so it is your fault. How it is my fault when you guys took measurement. with another blouse we told them to take the zip out from the side and it came back with the zip, I told them to get me new cloth and I will have it stitched, they will not even do that and The service is terrible with awful behavior. They don't pick up the phone and they turn the phone off when you repeatedly call. 0 out of 5 stars.

Do not shop here. Sales guy named Ravi or rambhai pinjwani helped me and told me that this dress outfit i wanted to buy for my wedding could be altered to become a lengha and top. He convinced me it will be 100% perfect and they took my measurements and told me it would be ready by a certain day for pick up. The dress was not ready in time for pick up, and it was 2 sizes too small for me! The top and bottom are both too small. I had asked them to leave room to open and adjust for me in case and they didn’t even do that! When i contacted him to fix the dress after I got back to the USA, he answered through WhatsApp and then completely stopped answering me and left my messages read. Horrible service, they will say anything to get a sale through and then leave you with an item that isn’t even your size and then ghost you. Unfortunately this is for my mendhi for my wedding, so i will have to spend extra money here to get it fixed somehow (tough to do when it’s way too small). I shopped all over india for my wedding outfits but this was the worst experience i had!!
