Trying to provide my balanced review of buying online at Mayuri silk, genuine feedback helps everyone, so writing a detailed review.

I purchased a Mulberry paat from Mayuri Silks online. I have lived in Sibsagar assam for few years during my childhood and had some silk pure paat silk sarees. They were exceptional in quality and I still use them after 15+ years.
I think the saree I received from Mayuri Silk was not meeting that bar in quality and smoothness. I also felt that the finishing of handloom work was slightly lower - as an example the border stich was not perfect for the saree I received, the buttas in saree had threads coming off and butta weaves caused slight saree folds. I know with handloom products, each saree is unique and what I got was a nice saree. But I already had experienced pure assam paat and this seemed lacking somewhere.

The entire shopping experience with them was very smooth and transparent though. The team is very responsive and keeps customers as the first priority - really appreciate that. Return shipment charges are not covered and customer has the bear them. But they are super prompt and responsible with their refund, which I appreciate. I think their biggest positive is the YouTube videos - they are educating the world about Assam paat and that is commendable - continue doing that. They also have some very fabulous designs and the website is superb!

The saree was nice, but 10k is a big value for a middle class family like mine. I returned the saree because it did not meet the Assam saree look I had in mind from my previous assam days. They have a no question asked return, but the staff took the trouble to call me and explain their loom and assam handloom quality.

Randomly stumbled upon this place on the Durgashtami night and very unexpectedly so since all other saree shops(specially in fancy market) was closed. It was my last night of guwahati trip and also happened to be my mom's birthday...so I wanted to get her an Assam silk saree. I was awed at their collection. Their pricing, trustworthiness and customer service wowed me. Finally after showing numerous types of Assam silk and explaining their differences in detail, we decided to get one. It costed us 10k exactly but it was worth it. The jovial store manager/owner promised me to send the e-bill after Dusshera and stayed true to his word. Loved this place. Will recommend everyone to have a look! Kudos to the team.

We visited the shop on October 6,2022. We bought two Assam Silk sarees from this shop. We had a charming experience as the price is reasonable and the behaviour of everyone, including that of Mr Pravojyot Bedi, is very nice.

I was looking for an authetic assam silk place and found this store in Google. I went there in the morning, waited long time as it didn't open at 10 am. There was only one person to attend the customer so couldn't see much varieties but whatever collection they had, no doubt it was genuine and excellent quality.
