They're the laziest, The staff treats poorly and middle class citizens with disrespect and scorn. Especially the Clerks and people at Help Desk.

Their website is a Sham. Grievance Redressal System never works. Ugly and Stupid User Interface. Total waste of Tax-Payers' money to develop this retarded system.

Even kids develop nowadays a better website than this, in SCHOOL, as extra curricular activities.

Kanpur Municipal Corporation is a municipal corporation of Kanpur city in Indian state of Uttar Pradesh. The corporation is the largest in the state of Uttar Pradesh with 110 wards covering area equal to 450 kilometres square.
The municipality in Kanpur was first established on November 22, 1861 under the chairmanship of a District Magistrate.
The first drainage system was established in 1872 and the first protected water supply in 1892. The city became a municipal corporation in 1959. Ram Ratan Gupta became the first mayor of Kanpur.

working Condition is very bad..as same as govmnt department... they take so much time..approx 3 months n more for my birth certificate...

It is office of Kanpur Municipal corporation who look after cleaning and maintenance of the city. The Corporation is headed by a Mayor and various officers/engineers. There are corporators who are elected by various wards by its residents. They present problems of their wards and get them solved.

Like all other government office here also you must have some source from top level officers to get your work done and also be ready to give money for faster outcome. Officials here are not easily accessible . They do work but slowly. Place is well maintained and has ample amount of space . Really clean and green place .Ample amount of parking space is there. Place is easily noticeable from traffic. Staff here is co-operative and helpful if you pay them well.

I went there for name change in birth certificate but staff said that there is no way they can change or update birth certificate which is completely false. I know that there is a form to update/correction form for birth certificate but they simply denied and said they can't help. Very corrupt and lazy staff.

Management is very worst . Noone listen us i dont know what they do again i say the management is very worst
