The Beauty of Heritage is because of lot of reasons. Its size, the architecture, the generations and the stories. The All St. Garrison Church is one of them.

It is epic huge. It is located at the cantonment of Lucknow City. The main gate of this church do not show the Glimpse of the Church but when you enter the gate and you move forward for a while... You get lost in the vastness and the beauty it has to offer. The church itself didn't touch any of the boundary of the property. So people living nearby use to visit the church and do there morning/evening walks as well around it.

The interior of this Church is mesmerizing. You might have seen beautiful churches in old bollywood movies of Amitabh bachchan in Amar, Akbar, Anthony movie. The look of this church reminds me of that. The quite environment, the praying seats, the confession room, the sculpture on the walls, the designed windows at the top, all tell the story of Jesus Christ and of course the Jesus himself on the cross.

ऑल सेंट्स गैरीसन चर्च भारत के लखनऊ शहर के छावनी क्षेत्र में स्थित एक ऐतिहासिक इमारत है।
This church was built in 1860 but at that time it was small as compared to its present architecture. With the passage of time, as Lucknow Cantonment began to expand, the number of troops increased and the church was expanded to meet their needs. It was decided in 1908 that a bigger church was extremely necessary. After the new church was reconstructed, it was rechristened as All Saints New Garrison Church. This was the first church to be built for the Anglican Church. It was designed in 1908 by a British Engineer named Jones Ransom, who has also made the design for the Saint Mungo's Church of Scotland in Lucknow Cantonment. When he returned to England, the work was completed by Lishman under the supervision of Architect John Baggs.

Not well managed but a great place to find in the woods for some vintage shots. First built-in 1860, gives a sweet reminisce of the British Rule in India who built this church. Better to visit before the sunset as it gets dark and there is not even a single lamp around.

The All Saints Garrison Church stands as an imposing edifice in the Lucknow cantonment area, impressing visitors with its daunting outlook today; its magnificence is indeed a feature of progression. While today projects majesty made in red stone, the chapel was first established as a smaller worship place which was later rebuilt and redesigned to be a grand icon of peace, solitude and splendour in the city.
