Calm and beautiful place. Wide area near the road makes it noticeable. But the church is closed, so you can't have prayer whenever you wanted to. The church building should be always keep open. On the top of the hill, the church is very beautiful. One of the best beautiful church structure of Tura.

The most popular place of worship in the whole region with the largest congregation of Baptists in Garo Hills. The present church was inaugurated in 1966. It was built in the shape of a crucifix, when viewed from the top. It has undergone many facelifts and extensions since then in an attempt to accommodate it's ever burgeoning membership. This church is also playing a stellar social service by way of offering a Christian marriage hall, with all amenities included, for very affordable rates and, as such, is the preferred venue for all denominations, with a very long booking period of over 10 months, on average. Other POIs of this church are, the conjoined (sort of) banyan trees, the Mason Phillips Hall annexe, and the historical church building itself. Its biggest challenge in the near future will be the construction of a new building which can accommodate all its members under one roof.

Like any place of worship i will not review much but its serene, homely and highly spiritual. You will always get a warm welcome.
