HOLY REDEEMER Church

A very peaceful place for prayer & worship. It is built on a higher ground which makes it a nice place for an evening walk to watch a beautiful sunset and feel the cool breeze.
Very impressive architecture. There is a beautiful heavenly painting on the alter. It is also very spacious inside and can accommodate large number of people.

Holy Redeemer Church at Belthangady is the largest and the most famous church in the entire region. There is a school nearby which is run by the help of Ursuline Sisters, catering to the educational needs of the local community. In olden times, when schools were scarce, the priests of this church lighted the lamp of education for all. People from a very large area come to this church for their spiritual needs. Festivals are celebrated on a large scale here.

This is the parish where Iived for 30 years, and one thing I can say about this place is very energetic place.

It's my Parish and it has a great environment of spirituality. The interiors and view is good. Would recommend any tourists visiting Belthangady to visit that Church.

The Most Holy Redeemer Church is a historic Roman Catholic Church situated in the locality of Belthangady. The first structure of the church came into existence around 1885 and the current church is the 3rd structure. The other two older structures were demolished.The current structure of the church was built in 2012.

This Church is the spiritual home to over 610 families with a population of over 2800 members. The Church has started several institutions of which the Holy Redeemer English Medium School, Church Higher Primary School – Kannada Medium and the Holy Redeemer Auditorium are noteworthy.

This Catholic Church is is very large and has a lot of space in it, this church has a blessed family present out there, very holy place.... Loved it
