Mahatma Gandhi Nagar Graveyard

This place is used for burning dead bodies. The Mahatma Gandhi Nagar bus stand is just opposite to this place. Lot of people including children are waiting for route busses, school / college busses, auto etc as it's a common place.
Moreover, lot of houses and shops are situated close to this. When dead bodies are burnt, lot of smoke and smell are arising out of that and is a heath hazard. When the Government has already moved to electric arrangements for burning dead bodies at "Thathaneri Sudukadu", it's surprising, why the Madurai Corporation is still having and permitting usage of this place for burning dead bodies openly.
