Sacred Heart Church in Burdwan is one of the two Catholic Churches in Burdwan, under the cover of Diocese East India. It's located beside the Big Bazaar, just near the station and Parkas Road link. Christmas is beautifully celebrated here.

It's one of two Church in barddhaman. It's beautiful and big. Payers happened every Sunday morning. Christmas Eve is the lighting the decorations are too beautiful to explain. Lots of people visit place. A well decorated and peaceful place. The white marbel floor reflect white light it's like heaven.

Nice place, but on Christmas Day it becomes too much crowded. If you want to visit and want a calm atmosphere, avoid this day and go on any normal day.

It's one of the oldest Roman Catholic church...Every Sunday holy mass starts from 7.30 am in Hindi and 9.30 am in Santhali (tribal) language.

Burdwan 2nd famous charchA nice church to visit if you have an evening to spare. Built on the onset of a busy road, the church is situated near the Big Bazaar, opposite to the Radhaballav Mistanna Bhandar, and at the meeting point of the Parcus Road and R. B. Ghosh Road. Every year on 25th December, the church is beautifully decorated and lighted to celebrate Christmas.People from all over Burdwan and outside come to see it. The church is open for all. It has two spires and a statue of Christ in between. The prayer hall is right beneath the statue. The hall has been beautifully constructed.
