The parish is part of archdiocese of changanacherry, the syromalabar Catholic Church. Late Rev Fr.George Vadakkedam constructed the present parish church from the dilapidated condition to revive Ariyad Cherupusha Devalayam. Rev Fr.kaithara a junior priest of the archdiocese is the parish priest over here. He constructed the auditorium and Kodimaram. Other significant parish priests were the pioneer, Rev Fr. Kokoth, seems to be a Keralite Jesuit priest and Fr.Shaji Thumpechirayil the architect of Miraculous Ariyad Mariyan grotto. It is naturally beautiful area but less maintained vast area adjoining vembanad lake/ back waters.

Dedicated to little flower. Good place to practice Catholic faith
