and least interested. I got a feel and desire to actually make a visit to Customer relationship manager here but dunno if they have any here. Had my bad experiences before at Maruti workshops too but not quite like this one.
Visited on 20/1/21 to get my alto k 10 serviced.
Mr. Prem received the car, while opening the job card, i asked him that just a general service is to be done, there is not any major problem in the car besides, rear doors are little noisy. I also asked him to just check engine oil and if necessary change it, otherwise all is good, as my car running is very low. He said that either we have to do a service with the 10000 Kms which requires a service kit with spark plugs, oil filter, air filter, petrol filter, coolant etc. included which will cost you approx 5500/- or if you want a general service only we have to show 45000 Kms. run reading in our records. Who wants to get their car show running 45000 Kms when actually it is 10500 approx? I said ok, do the service with 10000 kms.
While the service was going on, i was standing in front of my car and the mechanic went to store with used air filter of my car to take the new one, he came back with the same old one, he told me that the air filter is not in stock after that he inserted the same and asked it's condition is good, will work fine, nothing to worry. After that it comes to coolant, he opened up the storage bottle of coolant fitted in car, it was looking quite good, i asked the mechanic abt it, he said yes it is good and no need to change, but it is in your service kit, thats y have to change. After both the incidents i thought this is simply loot nothing else, and kept my mouth shut, coz i gave my acceptance for the kit earlier.
Now coming to the billing counter, when the temporary invoice got generated, i saw that the air filter was also been charged, which was out of stock, and mine old one was used in car, plus a dashboard cleaner and a perfume was also included in the bill. The both items were not required/demanded by me.
After that i contacted the works manager and told him the issue. He asked me that every issue will be rectified. After that he asked at the billing counter that remove the dashboard cleaner and perfume, and instead of removing actual price of air filter make an additional 250/- discount.
I don't know the exact amount of air filter, but i don't think it costs only Rs. 250/-.
Now i think that there was no need to change petrol filter and oil filter as well, all the game is about earning money by making a fool of a customer
Anyways....after getting things sorted, came back to my home.
But the overall experience is pathetic.
The service center owner just want to make a loot through threatening their customers.
So... Average set-up.
Not able to solve problem of my new car.
