Gopal Sweets

A must visit if you are in Patiala. This place has been there for a very long time and they serve good food and bakery items. I tried several items there and was not disappointed at all. Loved it and will visit again once back.

Local sweet shop and highly expensive $$$$. Food items are good, but not guaranteed that they are fresh on basis of reviews by public visited here. You can find every type of sweets here like Burfi, Gulab jamun, Rass Malai, Rassgula, Kaaju ki burfi, chana burfi, other kind of sweets. This place is also famous for serving local punjabi cuisine from breakfast hours to dinner. You can eat famous punjabi cuisine like daal makhani, shahi paneer, kadai paneer, lachha parontha, butter naan, tandoori roti etc. Apart from this, Gooal sweets also serve snacks and other kind of fast food. The place also hosts a bakery shop inside it. In breakfast, chhole bhature is also served.
Car parking is available here. Wheelchair approach is available but wheelchair entry is not possible especially to 1st floor.

Nice preparation tasty food..economic

Nice place to visit with family, but prices are bit high than jaggi and aneja

I ordered noodles from Gopal Sweets Model town from Zomato and when i got my order the zomato Agent observed that all the noodles were spilled out from the aluminium tub packet. He said mam please raise this issue with restaurant as they hadn’t tape the tub. When i saw not even a single tape was placed on the packet. Noodles were spilled in poly bag and in the agent’s bag. I tried calling restaurant many a times but no one answered my call. I raise the issue with Zomato they said packaging department is all from the restaurant side not from them. My money was wasted.

I ordered Malai Chaap and they served it raw. I asked to give me another one and later they asked if I can go with Paneer Tikka instead of Malai Chaap. Didn’t give me any reason why they couldn’t give me another plate of malai chaap.

The quality of food is really great. It’s clean. Sometimes the availability of daily stuff is not there so tells about high demand which is good and bad lol. But it’s great to have something here. If you are looking for chaap would rather encourage you to go further 5 minutes drive and have from under the bridge area.

Although quality is great but what they have done to masala dosa is appalling with peas, peanuts in the masala … unbelievably anti-authenticity. It’s a dosa guys not a rice daal stuffed parantha. 😅

Sambar on the other hand was fine along with the chutneys it came with.

Used to be the best food joint in its time. Nonetheless it’s still good. A great range of food is available is here. It’s so good.
