An amazing place if you want to go for a weekend getaway. Trecking is amazing. I went for trecking with a Team #WildSherpas and it was just amazing. Early morning climbed the hills and experienced the wonderful view of sunrise in 360Deg. Highly recommendable.

Awesome trekking experience. In Munnar this is the thing which must be experienced rather than just looking for some crowdy points. This one is very peaceful camp at the top of mountain and surrounded by many mountains including second highest peak mountain on the right side. Service is extra ordinary and they will serve you any food you demand and quite helpful folks. Trekking includes climbing to 8000 feat mountain from the camping point at Kerala and TN border. From Yellapatty to base camp 45 mins trekk to the base camp. Stay in the camp for night and next morning leave for the other mountain trekk.

Best view for sunrise. 5000ft above ground .... Chill climate... Literally above the clouds...

Good place to be alone with your wive. And a romantic place too. It is located at the reserved forest but it had more gud facilities too.

Highly recommended for relaxing the whole trip there. One of the best view that can be seen in munnar .can experience a good trecking at the morning.
There will be no other disturbance for us including phone because there is no range except bsnl.
Night campfire is good at the chilled climate , a different feel can be experienced.
Can feel the freshness of nature ,can take lot of pics.so never miss it ..once in every once life everyone should visit this place ...tasty food available there at wildsherpas.friendly guide .

Its a really nice place to visit.
There are 2 camps mainly cloudfarm and the wild sherpas.
You need to stop at yellapetti post office and can park your vehicle there.
Then its a 3kms trekking by walk through the tea estate to the base camp.
If its raining carrying a rain coat will be useful than umbrella.
The chances of encountering leeches on the way is there alcohol based sanitizer will be helpful.
If the climate is good you can see cloud bed perfectly.
That is an awesome view.
If you are lucky you can see clouds coming from a long distance and that will cover you in some time ( climate matters)
September to Jan is the best time they said considering the rain and all.
The base camp will be having only basic facilities.
They are run by solar power
So power bank and related accessories are advisable to carry.
Its a forest area under tamilnadu government and the entry is through tata tea estate so without proper permission or booking going there is not easy.
They offers options with stay and also just visit without stay.
And the numbers of person allowed will be limited per day in order to avoid crowds. Also due to this the team can able to manage the place in its correct manner.

That's the only place which is my favourite in Munnar.
Definitely if you are a nature lover or want to do some adventure than no doubt you have to go for it.
