Cold Desert Camps

My experience at Cold desert camps run by Dawa was amazing to say then least! I've received some of the best hospitality here despite them having such low resources & being in one of the remotest areas.

It's a challenge to do anything in that weather with no electricity. So, running a successful business in such circumstances is nothing less than admirable. Please visit them if you're going to Chandrataal :)

I stayed here with my family in first week of June 2022. The tent we stayed had bed for two and they arranged extra bed for my son. Tent was nice and clean. Attached washroom was just ok. The dinner they served was limited in option but was better than expected at that place. We were very hungry when we returned from the lake and we were wondering whether there will be anything available apart from maggi, but it was great surprise when the cook served us crisp fried pakoda/tikki which was super.
Overall, it was a wonderful experience of staying in a tent at beautiful location.

Faltu camps hai...they don't give you any choice of food even if you are ready to pay...felt like I was locked in jail for a day..

Owner was rude.. please don't book it..it's for your own good
