Road is in pathetic condition though far better than the previous one if you're traveling from Gramphu to Kaza (though road from Kaza till Losar is great). Cars with good ground clearance is recommended. Closed for longer duration in winter, Summer months are better to visit place. Nearby eatery is at Batal ( as there are dhabas) and visitings places are Kumzum Pass and Chandra taal (lake).
