Good for trekking. Climbing rock is slight difficult. Overall good experience. Very crowdy on Sunday.

That falls is any restriction is not fallow it's free to enjoy with nature and frds my kind advice prepare to lunch and back its very useful for finish the enjoyment after very hungry no shop available at pathway

We were a group of seven. We traveled to this place from chennai. Our main purpose was to try hiking in the hills. At the main entrance to the forest reserve, the vehicle charge for car is Rs.300. Not sure for the bikes. Apart from that each person is charged rs.50/- There is a security check at the entrance to ensure no disposable plastic and liquor are taken (inspite of that its sad to see how many sneak them and discard it all over). So from main entrance it's close to 10 minutes drive to the parking area. From here one is on foot. There are many smaller pools close by with clear pristine flowing water. It's difficult to find the way to the main water falls as there is not a single signage pointer. Don't know what is the purpose of collecting money and not providing with any basic infrastructure. There is a sad looking cabin with a board marked 'change room'. Rest room stinks. Not a single first aid facility in a place that claims to be adventurous tourism.

The cool water and the surrounding hills are definitely a treat to your eyes. But pls pls carry sufficient water, caps and proper foot ware.

Base 1 camp was good. Full mud and rock road. Need proper foot wear for sure.

The best freshwater pond lake and falls near to Chennai. The place is very clear and pleasant.
