Cafe Coffee Day - Dr. S.M. Das Road

Cafe coffee day is my all time favorite place for coffee and catching hold of this one was like a wooow feeling in Darjeeling when you least expect this one here. awesome sitting arrangement and consider yourself lucky if it drizzles outside while you enjoy your coffee

Lovely location right on Darjeeling Mall! The service standards are what you would expect in a typical CCD! Right as we entered the CCD, we were seated warmly and asked for our choice of coffee. I asked for Cappuccino and wasn't disappointed at all :-) On top, the views are breathtaking

It is just on approach of famous Darjeeling Mall. Ambiance is very good here. It is on a very prominent location and attracts many tourists visiting to Darjeeling. People usually spends 30-45 minutes here. Cafe Coffee Day is a very popular chain of coffee shop, now in India too. Obviously this is one of my favorite place.

Worst experience. It took more than half an hour for 3 cups of cuppacino. The staff were chatting loudly within themselves which were kind of irritating. The quality of coffee served were not upto the mark. It was a big disappoinment.

Avoid. They can't make a decent cup of coffee. My tropical iceberg tasted nothing like the usual I have had at any other outlet in India. Moreover they will not provide the bill to you unless you ask.

No doubt about CCD's quality. But the atmosphere and the ambience inside is bad. I expected a peaceful and cozy atmosphere but the staff themselves are making loads of noise.
As CCD says 'A lot can happen over Coffee' but only if there's a wonderful ambience.

Many years back, before CCD, the same place was known as "StarDust restaurant" right at Chaurasta Darjeeling, because it has a open section (which still exists), on a non-cloudy day one can view Kanchanjunga mountain range and sip hot coffee! So blissful.
