The Daily Cafe

Having had our interest peaked while reading about this cafe in a recent newspaper article, we were waiting for a chance to sample it's food and ambience. That chance came on a winter evening on the 29th of January 2022, when we happened to be in the Desopriyo Park Area where this cafe is located.
Immediately upon arriving outside the cafe, one is greeted with a unique calming green facade composed of potted green plants. The interiors are comfortable and cosy.
We ordered a Cafe Latte and a Bullet (a Black Coffee with a smokey frangance).
Being a cafe they take their coffee really seriously and both coffees were excellent.
Along with the coffees, we ordered a Spicy Steak Sub and Lebanese Beef Shawarma. The Steak Sub contained little spicy chunks of beef, mustard, lettuce and spicy mayonnaise which makes your taste buds sing. It was served with french fries and a refreshing dip made with curd. The Lebanese Shawarma contained pickled onions and some purple leaves (We are not sure what the leaves were but they tasted fine) and middle eastern indegredients like Toum, Tahini and Za'atar. The shawarma had a strong nasal spicy sensation similar to Wasabi or horse radish.
Overall it was a good experience. They have a large menu with many pasta and egg based items which we could not sample during this visit. They have many vegan, gluten free and keto options as well. We look forward to visiting this modern innovative cafe once again.

I don't want to sound negative about this fancy cafe around Deshapriya Park but it didn't live upto it's ratings when I visited. The coffee barely tasted anything like a pro grade cafe coffee unlike my palate identified it with one of those ready made ones. The salad was extremely pricey and barely had 5 chicken shreads in a full bowl. It's a clumsy place with decor all over and when its crowdy it's even suffocating. The staff doesn't help. They're horrible at describing their own menu and give unhelpful suggestions which doesn't match your taste. Ain't vigilant of customers and miss out on Little things like stirrer for the coffee and even water! Skip this cafe of you can!

The Ambience is so great, the service is also amazing. You'll get products like flour, cookies, sleepy owl coffee, pickles, in a section where you can also buy it. Fish lemon butter sauce, roast chicken, creme brulee, biscoff cheesecake, shakes, coolers, and more!
Had so many food from this place!

A must visit 😍

This small cafe’s decor is cute but it is not as worthy as it portrays. Also, the staffs over there sounds a bit rude. It would be nice if they behave in a more polite manner with the customers.

This location has got a sweet ambiance. The smoothies are absolute satisfaction. The menu isn't always a everyday one-- it has dishes which can be have a traditional combination of components and is barely distinctive from the usual cafe menu which makes it standout. The burger ( boss burger) became exclusive too -- in contrast to the usual cheese it had a sticky sweet- highly spiced tangy chook stuffing with fries, the caramel cheese cake was precise too.

One of the best cafe in Kolkata right now. Their beverages are to die for especially their coffees.
They also have a huge selection of food and some of them are just amazing. The Korean Wings, Beef salad, Pablo burger, Christmas Roast are a few which will make your tongue tickle.
Last but not the least their desserts are just a piece of art you don’t feel like eating them they look so good but one thing i cam guarantee that they taste even better.

I have been to this place multiple times and that is clearly because I love their food ❤️ The reason I am rating them 3 star is their service. They charge you service charge but their service is not at all good. They don't even serve you water when you come in , even when the bottles are glass bottles and people are expected to be cautious. If you request them the same they will just open the water bottle's cap and leave it for you. 👎Service continuing like this, it won't be long before ratings start to fall for them even when the food and ambience remains top notch 💔

An extremely lovely place to cheer you up after an exhausting and stressful day. The prices do justice to all the available food and beverages on their menu. Good and courteous staff. Prompt service. Extremely delicious food with good quantity. This place has a very cozy and friendly ambience that is bound to give you the "feel-good" factor. Do give a visit with your friends or family or bf/gf.
